* As winners of the SIPR Applied Policing Research Award, this month see's the Geographies of Missing People team present on their research findings and meet winners of the other categories for a workshop at the Scottish Police College (2nd October, 10.00 to 16.30).

* The team are busy writing and have been asked to contribute chapters to 'Missing Persons: a handbook of research'; 'Cultural Geographies'; 'Social and Cultural Geography', as well as have articles in review in 'Policing: A Journal of Policy and Practice' and 'Cultural Geographies'.
